Laila McLeod is Denver’s steady, high-effort frontcourt piece with real upside
In the 2025-26 season, Laila McLeod appeared in 25 games with four starts for Denver, averaging 3.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game, and she delivered a career-best 18 points in a win over MSU Denver. She looks like a versatile glue player: active on the glass, capable of stretching the floor a bit, and reliable enough to earn rotation minutes without dominating the ball. The big appeal is her feel-for-the-game, toughness, and willingness to do the unglamorous work that coaches love.
