Boston College’s 6-foot-4 lefty Zach Fronio brings frontline upside with room to grow
Zach Fronio is a freshman left-handed pitcher at Boston College in the 2026 season, listed at 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, with the kind of frame scouts love and the left-handed angle every staff covets.[1][2] His recruit profile and Boston College’s signing notes point to a high-upside arm from North Hunterdon, but the public record is light on college stat output so far, which usually means the real answer on him is more projection than production right now.[2][4] He’s the kind of pitcher a staff can dream on: big, projectable, and worth tracking for long-term strike-throwing and matchup value.[1][2]
