Villanova LB Dillon Lucas brings leadership and rotation value
Dillon Lucas is projected to be part of Villanova’s linebacker rotation in the 2026 season, with the program specifically noting his leadership and solid all-around presence. He’s the kind of steady, reliable defender who can fit a team that wants toughness, communication, and special-teams attitude as much as raw splash plays. For a roster needing a mature, blue-collar linebacker who helps hold the room together, Lucas looks like a sensible depth-and-intangibles add rather than a headline-chasing star.
