Kansas safety with a ball-hawking résumé and local roots
Murphy is a Lawrence, Kansas product at safety whose ESPN profile shows 11 solo tackles and 2 interceptions, suggesting a player who can find the ball and make plays when chances come his way[6]. The bigger value is his defensive back pedigree and instincts: he has the profile of a secondary piece who can add range, discipline, and turnover potential rather than just rack up empty tackles[6]. If you need a safety with local familiarity and playmaking upside, he is worth a look[6].
