steady, veteran Quinnipiac guard with winning savvy
Makenzie Helms is a veteran guard whose value goes beyond the box score: Quinnipiac lists her as a 5-foot-8 guard who transferred from Nebraska and was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team, while her early Quinnipiac stretch showed she could chip in across the board with scoring, assists, rebounds, and steals. In the 2022-23 season, she appeared in 30 games and averaged 2.0 points, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 rebounds in 14.2 minutes per game. She looks like a smart, dependable fit for teams that want toughness, experience, and a low-drama connector in the backcourt.
