Somah Payne brings size-first trench value to Wagner’s defensive front
Somah Payne is a senior defensive lineman for Wagner, but the available public data does not show detailed 2025 production, so his case is built more on role and profile than on stat-sheet noise. He matters because interior defensive line help is hard to find, and a veteran DL can add leverage, gap control, and run-game sturdiness that doesn’t always show up in box scores. Based on the limited public footprint, he projects as a depth-and-disruption fit rather than a headline star[1].
