Sam Houston’s CB Name to Track
Derrick Worthy is listed as a cornerback for Sam Houston, but the available public roster data does not show enough current-season production to judge his statistical impact cleanly. What stands out most is the opportunity: a DB spot at Sam Houston rewards speed, discipline, and ball skills, so if he’s cracking the rotation, it usually means he’s trusted in coverage and not just along for the ride. The main question for a fit is upside—he looks like the kind of defender who can earn value through consistency, toughness, and special-teams edge rather than flashy box-score numbers.
