Reggie Haynes brings ball-hawking edge and all-conference pedigree to Tennessee State
Reggie Haynes stands out as a defensive playmaker with elite takeaway production, posting 8 interceptions, 16 pass breakups, 59 tackles, and 5 tackles for loss in his 2024 season highlights, while earning defensive player of the year and back-to-back all-conference honors. That profile suggests a high-IQ, disruptive defender who thrives on anticipation, competitive urgency, and consistency in coverage rather than just raw size or speed. If Tennessee State wants a safety/coverage specialist who can change games with turnovers and sticky man coverage, Haynes looks like a strong fit.
