veteran Vermont frontcourt piece with size, passing touch, and Team-First grit
Cassidy Derda is a 6-foot-2 forward for Vermont whose calling card has long been versatility: in the 2017 season she showed playmaking pop with a 17-point, 12-assist outing and was praised as an inside presence for the Catamounts; earlier in her career, she was noted for strong local pedigree and all-state honors at Rice Memorial High School. The biggest reason to care is the fit—she brings frontcourt size, experience, and a selfless, team-oriented style that can stabilize a lineup.
