Temple’s depth-piece punter with room to prove his consistency
Mike McLaughlin is listed by Temple as a punter, but the available reliable results don’t show much recent college production to judge on-field form yet, so the story here is mostly projection and fit. The differentiator is roster versatility and developmental upside: he’s in a specialist role where hang time, placement, and consistency matter more than flashy volume. If Temple is looking for a steady, low-drama performer who can grow into the job with coaching, McLaughlin is a watch-list name rather than a finished product.
