Utah Tech’s tackling-first DB with playmaking flashes
In the 2024 season, Quincy Lejay emerged as a physical, high-volume defender for Utah Tech, starting seven of 11 games and finishing second on the team with 60 tackles, plus 2.0 tackles for loss, five pass breakups and a fumble recovery; he also posted three double-digit tackle games and was named UAC Freshman of the Week after a 12-tackle, turnover-forcing outing. He missed most of 2025 with injury after appearing in only two games, but his production, instincts and willingness to play downhill make him a good fit for a defense that wants a tough, active DB who can rally and hit.
