Tulsa CB Sherman Steptoe brings legacy toughness and ball-tracking instincts
Sherman Steptoe is a former Tulsa defensive back whose profile points to a hard-nosed, instinctive corner with deep Golden Hurricane roots, giving him a built-in feel for the program and its defensive expectations. His value is the kind coaches love: legacy familiarity, competitive edge, and a DB pedigree that suggests good eyes in coverage and comfort in press situations. If you’re evaluating fit, he reads like a culture add—someone who should understand leverage, effort, and how to survive in the physical end of the secondary.
