Clemson’s dependable special-teams piece: Jack Maddox brings scholarship-level value at long snapper
Jack Maddox is a proven Clemson special-teams specialist who snapped in all 13 games in 2021 and earned scholarship recognition after rising from walk-on status, which signals trust, consistency, and a strong work ethic. His value is less about box-score stats and more about reliability in a high-pressure role: precise snaps, steady execution, and the kind of maturity coaches want on punt and field-goal units. If your team needs a low-drama, dependable specialist with buy-in and toughness, he looks like a strong fit.
