Joe O’Regan brings pro-sized lefty value and strikeout punch to CSUB’s bullpen
In the 2026 season, Joe O’Regan flashed swing-and-miss upside for Cal State Bakersfield, including a two-inning, three-strikeout relief outing in the Roadrunners’ win over Fullerton, while his 6-foot-4, 225-pound frame and left-on-left profile make him an appealing matchup arm. He’s the kind of pitcher a staff wants when it needs size, angle, and toughness, though his 2026 numbers also show inconsistency (10.03 ERA, 2.49 WHIP in 8 appearances), so he looks more like a high-variance bullpen piece than a finished product.
