McKenna Guest is giving New Mexico a two-way spark in the circle and at the plate
In the 2026 season, Guest has emerged as a workhorse for New Mexico, logging 35 appearances, 24 starts, eight complete games, two shutouts and a 12-9 record, while also earning Mountain West Pitcher of the Week honors after a strong stretch that included a .600 batting average and .636 on-base percentage.[3][1] What makes her stand out is the volume, competitiveness and two-way value: she can carry innings, limit damage in big spots and still contribute offensively. For a team, she looks like a dependable, high-intensity arm with proven durability and room to keep climbing.
