Lehigh freshman Silvio Giardina brings contact-oriented infield value and steady leadership
Giardina has already shown he can contribute in pressure spots for Lehigh in 2026, including a key single in the Mountain Hawks’ March win over Navy, while also earning Patriot League Rookie of the Week recognition. His profile points to a compact, practical game: solid infield defense, quick enough athleticism to stay on the left side, and the kind of dependable work ethic and leadership that earned praise in his high-school career. He looks like a fit for teams that value baseball IQ, consistency, and a reliable up-the-middle presence more than pure flash.
