Duke’s long, raw 7-1 center with major upside and a developmental curve
Maxime Meyer is a 7-foot-1 Duke commit whose game is built around length, mobility, and defensive upside, with reports citing a 7-foot-3 wingspan and 9-foot-5 standing reach. In the 2026 recruiting cycle, he’s been ranked around the top 100 nationally and among the top centers, but the bigger story is his projection: he’s seen as a late-blooming, high-ceiling big who can rebound, run the floor, and grow into more offense over time. If your team wants a tough, toolsy rim-protector rather than an instant stat monster, he’s your kind of big.
