Power back David Montgomery remains a reliable, touchdown-driven RB
David Montgomery is a physical, low-maintenance runner who brings proven short-yardage production, finishing the 2025 regular season with 158 carries for 716 yards and 8 rushing touchdowns while adding 24 catches for 192 yards. His appeal is his compact 5'11", 230-pound frame, dependable goal-line finishing, and steady efficiency rather than explosive flash. The one caveat: the search results identify him as a Houston Texans running back, not a Gardner-Webb player, so if you meant a different David Montgomery, the fit and evaluation would need to be rechecked.
