Kyle McLeroy brings veteran guard instincts and defensive value to Sam Houston
McLeroy is a 6-1 guard whose profile is built more on steadiness, defense and basketball IQ than eye-popping scoring, which can make him a useful fit for a team that values structure and reliability. His Sam Houston background includes being part of two of the program’s most successful seasons, including a 24-11 campaign in 2013-14 and a combined 50-20 stretch across two years, suggesting he has experience in winning environments and understands how to contribute within a system.
