Brooklyn Artis brought steady two-way guard play and veteran polish to Indiana State
Brooklyn Artis was a dependable Indiana State guard in the 2016-17 season, averaging 3.0 points, 1.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.7 steals while appearing in all 30 games and starting 23[3][10][12]. Her calling card was efficiency at the foul line, where she shot 77.3% in 2016-17, plus a steady defensive edge that showed up in steals and minutes consistency[3][10][12]. The big takeaway: she looked like a low-drama, high-IQ role player who could help a roster with defense, ball movement, and maturity.
