Versatile WR with Emerging Hands, Not the EKU LB You're Seeking
Sacred Heart's Elijah Ford, a wide receiver (not Eastern Kentucky's LB), broke out in 2024 with 16 receptions for 124 yards across 10 games, peaking at 4 catches vs. LIU and 47 yards at Howard—solid production for an FCS contributor showing reliable hands and route-running polish from his Downingtown West HS sprint background (elite 400m times). His differentiator is consistent separation and toughness after contact, with no major injury flags; scouts note his high-motor play fits slot roles on competitive teams, though modest speed caps deep-threat upside. Watch for transfer portal buzz if EKU needs WR depth.
