Buffalo’s do-it-all guard who stuffs the stat sheet
In the 2022-23 season, Zakiyah Winfield was Buffalo’s engine, leading the Bulls in rebounds (10.5 per game) and assists (3.9) while ranking second in scoring at 14.8 points per game and adding 1.8 steals. The 5-foot-7 guard brings rare all-around production, high motor, and versatility—she can initiate offense, crash the glass, and create chaos defensively. She also has real pedigree, entering the season with 1,760 career points and prior All-American-level production at Glenville State. A leg injury has slowed her, but her upside and toughness make her a strong fit for teams needing a competitive, multidimensional floor general.
