Zykiesis Cannon brings veteran secondary savvy and proven ball skills to Louisville
In the 2026 season, Zykiesis Cannon is a senior Louisville defensive back with veteran size at 6-0, 185 and a long track record in the Cardinals’ secondary[1]. His best calling card has been steady, physical play with real ball production—he previously emerged as a starter and recorded 66 tackles plus his first career interception in a prior season, and earlier advanced grading had him as one of Louisville’s top defensive performers[10][7]. The fit is strong for a team wanting experience, discipline, and a DB who has already shown he can handle meaningful snaps under pressure[1][10].
