Tyrese Brown

Texas State RB with High-Intensity Drive and Zone-Run Versatility

Tyrese Brown, Texas State’s senior running back, delivered 144 rushing yards on 39 carries (3.7 avg) in the 2024 season, showcasing a high-intensity, workmanlike approach that transcends raw stats. While his yardage per carry is modest, Brown’s differentiator is his relentless zone-run versatility—79% of his 2025 rushing attempts were on zone plays, per Pro Football Focus—paired with a physical, no-nonsense personality that coaches trust in tight games. He played only one game in 2024 due to limited roster depth, not injury, and remains a reliable, high-effort RB who fits teams needing grit over flash. His intensity and adaptability make him a strong fit for any offense prioritizing consistency and defensive pressure.
