Avern Alexander brings size and tackle depth to Tennessee State’s front
Avern Alexander is a veteran **offensive lineman** who projects as a physical depth piece for Tennessee State, with the kind of size and experience that can help stabilize the edge in the run game and pass protection. The main appeal is his tackle build and battle-tested profile—he’s the type of lineman coaches like because he can compete for snaps without needing the spotlight. I could not verify detailed recent game-by-game production or injury notes from the available sources, so his value is best read through fit: dependable line depth, positional flexibility, and developmental upside.
