Brayden Turner brings classic pocket-passer upside to Fresno State
Turner is a 6-foot-3, pro-style QB from Monte Vista who arrived at Fresno State as a 3-star recruit and redshirted in the 2025 season, so the 2026 season is his first real chance to push for meaningful snaps. In high school, he showed polish and production, throwing for 2,134 yards and 19 touchdowns in 2023 and 1,698 yards with 14 TDs in 2024, with enough size and field vision to project as a system fit rather than a scramble-first athlete. The draw here is developmental upside: clean pocket traits, steady production, and a long runway in a QB room that needed depth.
