Eugene Johnson brings size, rim protection, and low-ego frontcourt value to Alabama State
Johnson is a 6'7" forward whose profile is built on rebounding, shot-blocking, and steady interior defense; in his Alabama State bio, the staff specifically highlighted his size, solid skills, and potential to be a solid post defender with blocking ability. His college stat line on ESPN shows modest scoring, which suggests he is more of a role player than a featured option, but that can still make him a useful fit for teams needing length, toughness, and defensive stability over high-usage offense.
