Adam Richard is a depth linebacker with early-usage upside for UMass
Adam Richard’s current value is in dependable, situational linebacker snaps rather than headline-grabbing volume: in the 2024 season opener against Boston College he recorded two solo tackles, then added two assisted stops against Colorado, showing he can contribute when called on.[3] What makes him interesting is the combination of physicality and willingness to step into contact, which can matter more to a coaching staff than raw tackle totals. He looks like a fit for teams that want a hard-nosed, development-friendly defender who can grow into more responsibility.[3]
