a seasoned Rutgers mauler with proven Big East pedigree
Lowery’s profile is built on versatility, size, and legit power: Rutgers recruited him as a 6-4, 325-pound defensive lineman in 2009, and he later became an effective offensive lineman, starting 21 games in 2012 and 2013 and earning First-Team All-Big East honors as a junior in 2012. He also landed on preseason all-conference and Outland/Lombardi watch-list conversations, which signals real respect for his interior-line impact. The fit? He looks like the kind of experienced, tough-nosed blocker you plug in when you want a dependable trench fighter, not just a body.
