Reyn Watson is App State’s steady late-inning lefty with strikeout touch and real sneaky value
In the 2026 season, Reyn Watson gave App State a dependable bullpen arm, posting a 1-1 record with a 4.55 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 27.2 innings, while also showing he can handle pressure as a multi-inning reliever.[1][13] His best selling points are the left-handed look, strike-throwing enough to stay in leverage, and a recent track record of getting tougher as the season goes on — he was especially sharp in Sun Belt play in 2025, when his ERA dropped to 1.29 and he allowed just two earned runs over his final seven outings.[1][9] That profile makes him a good fit for teams needing a calm, competitive bullpen piece who can miss bats without needing the spotlight.[1][9]
