The veteran Lobos guard who brought scoring, size, and poise
Abbie Letz was a steady, senior-level presence for New Mexico, known for 3-point shooting, efficient scoring bursts, and the toughness to play through a bad back in the 2005-06 season. She earned third-team all-conference honors in 2005-06 and helped power a Lobos team that went 18-6 at one point in conference play, with multiple games where she delivered big-point totals and timely shots. The fit question is easy: if you want a guard who can stretch the floor, compete hard, and handle pressure, Letz looked like a reliable, battle-tested piece.
