High-upside Indiana walk-on with QB poise and local-state pedigree
Bruno Massel IV entered Indiana as a 5-foot-11, 193-pound freshman WR and redshirted in 2025 without game action, so his college production is still a blank slate[2][6]. What makes him interesting is the athletic backstory: at York High School, he was a three-time state qualifier, a Class 8A state runner-up quarterback, and posted 1,685 passing yards with 11 passing TDs plus 1,248 rushing yards and 18 rushing TDs in his senior year, which hints at competitiveness, toughness, and playmaking instincts that can translate well to receiver[2].
