Austin Musso brings power-arm upside and early-ASU strikeout flashes
Austin Musso is a freshman right-hander for Arizona State who arrived with a strong prep résumé: in his senior year at Mascoutah, he went 9-2 with a 0.88 ERA and 102 strikeouts in 63.2 innings, and scouting notes praised a fastball that touched 93 mph with real command. In 2026, he has already shown swing-and-miss ability in relief and earned starts, including a three-inning, two-run outing against UNLV and a bullpen finish with back-to-back strikeouts versus Omaha. If your team wants a competitive arm with starter upside, Musso’s live stuff and poise make him worth a close look.
