veteran Samford QB with proven high-school production, but limited current public stat trail
Jes Sutherland is a former high-school record-setter at Woodward Academy, where he completed 156 passes for 2,154 yards and 23 touchdowns in a season and earned all-state and region QB honors. For Samford, the public record shows he was on the roster as a quarterback, but current season-level production is not clearly surfaced in the available team stat feeds, so the big takeaway is pedigree and development upside rather than a flashy stat line. If you want a QB with experience, arm talent, and a track record as a lead passer, he’s intriguing; if you need immediate, verified top-end production, the evidence here is thinner.
