Jada Jones is Jacksonville’s low-usage, high-effort interior anchor
In the 2024-25 season, Jacksonville center Jada Jones has been a steady paint presence, using size and physicality to finish efficiently while giving the Dolphins rebounds and rim protection in limited minutes; she also flashed a season-high eight points and eight rebounds against North Alabama in January 2025. Her freshman-year numbers showed the blueprint: 31 games, 12 starts, 108 rebounds, and 18 blocks in the 2023-24 season, which ranked 17th in the ASUN in blocks. She looks like a tough, defense-first fit for a team needing interior grit, screen-setting, and upside rather than high-volume scoring.
