Alabama legend turned staff ace who still shapes the Tide
Dudley is no longer a player for Alabama; in 2025-26 he serves as a special assistant to Nate Oats after helping the Crimson Tide reach the program’s first Final Four in 2024 and back-to-back Elite Eights in 2024 and 2025. As a former SEC Player of the Year and AP Third Team All-American in 2002, he brings real post-player credibility, strong rebounding instincts, and a veteran’s eye for physicality. He’s a great fit if a program wants a respected development voice with championship-caliber experience and deep Alabama roots.
