Brandon Griffin brings disruptive playmaking and steady linebacker production to Morgan State
In the 2017 season, Brandon Griffin emerged as a playmaking **linebacker** for Morgan State, finishing as the team’s fifth-leading tackler with 34 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and an interception while helping shut down opponents on the ground. He also earned MEAC and STATS FCS defensive recognition, which points to impact beyond raw counting stats. Griffin stands out for a balanced profile: active in run support, capable of creating negative plays, and reliable enough to be noticed nationally—traits that matter if a team wants an instinctive, assignment-sound defender.
