Elite Guard with Center Roots, Driving Minnesota’s 250.7 YPG Rush Attack
Connor Mayes, Minnesota’s #55 OL, is a differentiator who brings center-level precision to the guard role, fueling the Gophers’ 250.7 rushing yards per game in the 2024 season. His intensity is unmatched—playing all 13 games and starting six—while his personality blends quiet focus with relentless drive, making him a perfect fit for teams needing a high-motor, technically sound blocker. Though he moved from center to guard early in preseason camp, his adaptability and 6’5”, 300-lb frame ensure he thrives in the Big Ten. No major injury history; his consistency and leadership make him a top-tier recruit for any offensive line seeking a reliable, data-driven anchor.
