Dev Holmes is a proven big-play WR, but the Albany chapter is long over
In the 2018 season, Dev Holmes was Albany’s true-freshman receiving star, leading the Great Danes with 50 catches for 734 yards and 5 touchdowns, and even adding a 54-yard TD pass on an end-around[1][8]. He fit as a dynamic, multi-use playmaker with vertical juice and real production in space, but his Albany stint was shortened by a 2019 suspension and he later moved on to New Haven, so he’s more of a known commodity than a current Albany fit[7][10].
