J.T. Rankin brings depth and upside to Tennessee Tech’s offensive front
J.T. Rankin is a Tennessee Tech offensive lineman whose value is less about flashy box-score numbers and more about the foundational stuff coaches love: size, consistency, and the ability to help stabilize the line. Based on the limited public stat availability for an OL, the key takeaway is that his impact is measured in protection, leverage, and assignment reliability rather than counting stats. If you’re looking for a dependable developmental fit with room to grow into a stronger trench presence, Rankin looks like the kind of player who can quietly help an offense win the physical battle.
