Big Ten-tested, captain-level DB with pro pedigree
Saquan Hampton was a rugged, high-IQ Rutgers defensive back who stood out for his leadership, consistency, and versatility in the secondary; in 2018 he was an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten selection, a team captain, and Rutgers’ Homer Hazel Award winner, and earlier reports noted his ball production and improvement as a redshirt freshman. He’s the kind of player you care about because he brings maturity, toughness, and a proven ability to raise the standard in the room—not just raw athleticism.
