Breanna Severino gives Ball State a battle-tested arm in the circle
In the 2025 season, Breanna Severino logged 96.2 innings for Ball State with 7 wins, 43 strikeouts, and a 4.85 ERA, showing she can take on meaningful workload in the circle even when the results are uneven.[1] Her appeal is less about overpowering raw numbers and more about durability, experience, and the ability to handle starter-level volume, with Ball State notes describing her as delivering “a pair of brilliant performances” in a weekend series against Akron.[4] She looks like a fit for a team that values innings, competitiveness, and a pitcher who can be developed further rather than a finished product.[1][4]
