Aniyah Carpenter brings size, versatility, and steady wing production for Richmond
Carpenter is a 6-foot guard who gives Richmond a useful blend of perimeter size and all-around contribution; in her 2021-22 season, she appeared in 20 of 22 games and averaged 2.7 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game, with a season high of 11 points. [4][3] Her profile suggests a player who can handle multiple guard/wing responsibilities and provide depth rather than headline scoring, which can be valuable for teams that want length, flexibility, and a lower-maintenance role player who has already shown she can stay available and contribute in rotation minutes.
