Jimmy Scott is a disruptive, NFL-sized edge presence for Pitt
Jimmy Scott emerged as one of Pitt’s most disruptive defensive linemen in 2024, posting 30 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, six sacks and a forced fumble, then followed with another strong 2025 season as a starter who led the line in sacks. At 6-foot-3 and 260 pounds, he combines good burst, power and pursuit with the kind of backfield production coaches covet; EA’s college ratings also reflect plus marks in power moves, tackle and pursuit. He looks like a fit for teams wanting an active, versatile downhill defender rather than just a space-eater.
