Maya McPherson is a run-producing machine for Western Carolina
In the 2026 season, McPherson has been one of the Southern Conference’s toughest outs, hitting .408 with 17 home runs, 56 RBIs, 75 hits, and 141 total bases while earning first-team All-SoCon honors. She brings a big-time middle-of-the-order bat, extra-base pop, and clutch production — including a walk-off RBI and multiple huge weekend showings — plus the kind of intensity that shows up in award voting and record-book company. If you need an infielder who changes games with the bat and brings proven top-tier production, she’s absolutely a fit.
