Former WMU defensive standout turned NFL center
Drew Nowak’s Western Michigan résumé jumps off the page: he was a two-year team captain, the 2007 FRCC Defensive Player of the Year, and piled up 291 tackles with 36 sacks in high school, showing rare interior toughness and disruption ability.[8] He later reached the NFL as a center, which speaks to his football IQ, versatility, and physicality, though he is now listed as a former professional player rather than an active college prospect.[4][5]
