Experienced Mercer linebacker with size, versatility, and program familiarity
Danijah Gammage is a longtime Mercer defender who brings proven linebacker size and multi-year experience to the Bears’ front seven. Mercer listed him at 6'1", 225 pounds in 2022, and his roster history shows he has been around the program for several seasons, which usually translates to stronger communication, better fit within the scheme, and fewer “rookie mistakes” for a coaching staff to clean up. His value is less about flashy stat lines and more about reliability, physical presence, and understanding what the defense wants.
