Carlos Carroll brings length and inside-linebacker size to SMU
Carlos Carroll is a 6-3, 228-pound linebacker for SMU with a recruit profile that reflects solid national recognition, including a 247Sports ranking of No. 717 in the country and a listed inside-linebacker frame that fits the middle of a defense.[1][2] His value is more about projection than headline stats: SMU’s roster note and career logs show a dependable, physical defender who has contributed in multiple seasons, with one roster season listing 16 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in 12 games.[4][6] If you want a linebacker with size, versatility, and room to grow rather than a finished product, Carroll is worth a look.[1][4]
