Oregon’s new kicker battle has a clear front-runner
Josh Frankel is not the Ducks’ current starting kicker in 2026; Oregon’s special teams depth chart points to Gage Hurych as the placekicker, with Keaton Emmett also in the mix, so Frankel is not the guy right now. The one big takeaway for a team fit: Oregon’s kicking job is about consistency and trust, and Frankel’s profile is more of an older program name than a current on-field impact piece. If you need a proven, game-ready legs-first specialist today, he’s not the answer.
