A 6-foot-3, 225-pound tight end from Las Vegas, Isaiah Akinsanya arrived at Utah Tech with a profile built for real two-way TE value: he was described by head coach Lance Anderson as “tall and fast” with “great explosion,” and someone who takes pride in blocking in both the run and pass game. In high school, he produced 7 catches for 213 yards and a touchdown in 7 games in his senior season, so the intrigue is less volume than upside and fit. If you want a developmental tight end who can help as a mover and a mauler, he’s a legit watch-list name.
